FAVERAOLA is a progressive band with deep roots back in the late Sixties and early Seventies. "La Contea dei cento castagni" is an imaginary travel. The Seventies-style music is led by Hammond and violin, reminding the sympho-prog by ORME, the medieval-folk by Branduardi, and some hints of old melodic prog like PROCOL HARUM and MOODY BLUES.
