Acid dreams (CD)
Compiled by the owner of a record shop in Berlin, has often been reissued on CD with the wrong track listing and non-existent liner notes. Originally released on LP, only 77 copies were pressed and apart from a few that were given to friends and family, the remaining records were only sold through the compiler's shop. Unavailable on either LP or CD for years, we are pleased to make this important compilation available again. This re-issue, which stays faithful to the original, comes with an 8-page booklet detailing each of the 18 tracks.Acid Dreams proved that punk rock was not a new thing; kids had adopted the same snotty attitude in the mid to late '60s. Opening, and setting the standard for what's to come, is White Light's William, a compulsive classic hard guitar-psych 45 and 17 more psych diamonds follow in it's wake. A true gem mined and polished by Past & Present.
