Oh my God, 40 years in rock, the one and only Uriah Heep! Formed in December 1969 and still going strong. Just remember the classic Heep with Byron and their albums, remember Gary Thain and on of the greatest lineups in rock that ever was. From ''Very 'eavy... Very 'umble'', to Salisbury, Look at Yourself, Demons and Wizards, The Magician's Birthday , Sweet Freedom, Wonderworld, Return to Fantasy and after that some great albums. Every band has it's up and downs, so did Heep, lots of changes in lineup until 1986 when Bernie Shaw and Phil Lanzon joined with Box, Blolder and Kerslake. They made 4 albums and two of them pure Heep classics ''Sea of light'' and ''Sonic origami''. Kerslake had to leave and Russell Gilbrook came into a picture and what a boom it was, they made one of the strongest Heep albums ever ''Wake the sleeper''. These brings as to these album, really great stuff two new songs ''Only Human'' and ''Corridors of Madness'' witch shows us that these guys still got it and they still know how to write strong songs. Rest of the songs are of course greatest Heep classic. Whats really important to me is the fact that they did not just take old songs and recorded them like they were. In these album they managed to keep the old and still put in some new felling. Great line-up these one, hope to hear new album soon.
