On March 25th, Swedish heavy metal band Overdrive will release the listening companion to the new CD "Angelmaker" (released on February 21, 2011 through Lion Music). The vinyl only release is entitled "The Angelmaker's Daughter," and it is limited to 300 hand-numbered copies in three different colours including insert. A limited number will also contain a bonus sew-on patch. The LP contains six previously unreleased tracks, all recorded for the latest CD in 2010, plus three tracks from the CD. "These are the tracks that didn't make it on the CD 'Angelmaker.' Not because they were bad, but for various other reasons such as we didn't want two long epic songs on the CD, a couple of songs were a bit too similar in style, one was a bit too different in style etc. However the combination of these songs, plus three tracks carefully selected from the CD to fit the formula, has made this an album we feel very proud of," says guitarist Janne Stark.
