First time released on CD for the debut album of the Berkley/San Francisco folk-rock band. Released in '71 on Capitol/EMI the group grew to prominence playing the clubs of the San Francisco bay area following in the footsteps of the legendary COUNTRY JOE & THE FISH, the first of the politically aware outfits to emerge from Berkley. Produced by John Palladino who also produced albums with QUICKSILVER MESSENGER SERVICE and THE SONS OF CHAMPLIN.
