Namaskaar, Melodies From India = LP = (LP)
Apparently Mr. Roy was the arranger on Ananda Shankar and His Music and you can hear some similarity here, though almost completely lacking the funkiness and wild imagination of that album. Mellow and unassuming, maybe the ambient doppelganger of that style. First time I heard a track from this it made me think of an Indian Bo Hansson. I'm not sure that's accurate but that was the first thing my brain threw out.
