Pop tatari = Japanese = (CD)
Second in the series of reisssues on Very Friendly...and the BOREDOMS' 3rd album from '92. A loopy mix of reggae / funk / hiphop / punk / metal / noise topped off with gratutiously puerile yodelling, burping and screaming BEEFHEART or 'Locust' period BUTTHOLE SURFERS seem to be obvious points of reference, but really there are no comparisons, it doesn't sound like anything you've ever heard before. 'Pop Tatari' was once analogized as the 'least commercially viable album released by a major label since LOU REED's 'Metal Machine Music'.
