Pioneering a groundbreaking amalgam of hard rock and sideshow horror, 1970s heavy-metal progenitor Alice Cooper almost single-handedly invented the genre of shock rock with infamous live shows that employed electric chairs as stage props and live snakes as wardrobe accessories. The 1973 film GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN, ALICE COOPER captures one of the shock-rocker's trademark spectacles with a concert recorded during that year's canonical BILLION DOLLAR BABIES tour. Centered on Cooper's live performances but interspersed with fictionalized skits about an unhinged German director, the film received a limited theatrical run in the mid-1970s and has never before been available on home video. This release presents the film in its original cut with a high-definition transfer and surround-sound mix created from the 16-track master tapes for a historic testament to one of the most original voices in rock.
