Dating to 1997, Norway's 1349 - aptly named after the year the Plague hit Norway in the 14th Century - found immediate cult status with recording and later release of their self-titled mini-album in 2001. Both Candlelight full-length albums (Liberation - 2003 & Beyond The Apocalypse - 2004) received top honours from the world's most critical Metal / Rock publications and this, their third, is promising to follow suit. Once again it presents 1349's already respected super fast black metal (powered by Satyricon's super drumming man-machine Frost!!) that recalls the true glory of the scenes early sounds.
