Garajazz (CD)
SAUL is the name of a French musician and composer, born in Lille and former member of the band J.C.B.B., raised with jazz and blues. These ten pieces of "Garajazz", published in the year 2006 on the Musea Parallèle label, sound like a sort of electro-jazz, with plenty of sound and structures experiments. SAUL uses guitars, keyboards, percussion, flutes, violins, sound effects, loops, samples... Full of humour and dynamic, "Garajazz" reveals a surprising contemporary music, that a certain Frank ZAPPA would have surely highly appreciated. The melodies are original and the songs more structured than it seems. You never heard something like this before !
