Faraz Anwar is an unbelievably skilled guitarist and composer coming from such an unusual (for must of us) place as Pakistan. Most of you probably did not even know that there were any rock or fusion music there? Faraz is influenced by Allan Holdsworth but his debut album "Abstract Point of View" also features influences from Frank Gambale and Al DiMeola. This is a very complex album consisting of six longer compositions in which Faraz mixes Fusion with Rock.
