Feel This = Digipack = (CD)
As with Hell to Pay, Jeff Healey's third album Feel This leaves me uninspired and unimpressed. This album does depart a bit from the format of its predecessor, but I cannot help but draw the same conclusions about its worth. This album features even more radio friendly blues rock. He makes heavy use of female backing vocals, mostly to repeat key words of a chorus. The emphasis is usually placed on vocals. Jeff Healey fans like myself have been yearning for a guitar centered blues rock album since his debut. Sadly, Feel This does not deliver on this front although there are guitar solos on each track.
