For more than a year, it had disappeared from the shelves of record stores. It was considered "sold out" or even "deleted" in the catalogue lists of the record industry. The album "The Tides Return Forever", which is considered one of the best works in the discography of the band, had become virtually inaccessible to interested ELOY fans lacking this jewel in their collection. On the second hand market, it was being traded at astronomical prices and the chance of still getting hold of a copy in reasonable condition increasingly headed towards zero.
