Ocean Tales (CD)
"Ocean Tales" is the long awaited 5th album by Swedish instrumental quintet PLANKTON. They have been making music for over 10 years now and have been critically acclaimed all over the world, from both the public and the media. The band has indeed created a sound of their own, influenced by the classic rock sounds from the 60´s and 70´s, mixed with traditional Swedish folk music and jazz at times. The sounds are created with vintage Stratocasters, Marshall/Vox/Fender-amplifiers, stompboxes, tape echo-machines and various analog recording devices. These factors give PLANKTON a distinct sound that sets them apart from most other artists in the instrumental genre.
