Live in Aachen (CD)
Aachen Reiterstadion, Soers, Germany : July 11th 1970. A set originally issued as one of the first ever vinyl bootlegs back in late 1970. Recorded during a three day German open-air rock festival, and used as the basis for a number of bootleg titles. This version has been restored from the best surviving source material and sounds remarkably good. Gillan takes a back-seat for much of the time as the band concentrate on two lengthy instrumentals and a drum solo.
