On their debut album, Thank You, Goodnight!, White Light Motorcade doesn't go for the slick sound of their New York counterparts (the Strokes, the Witnesses). White Light Motorcade experiments with what sonically makes sense to them regardless of mainstream trends. The guitar-heavy Thank You, Goodnight! works with electronic bits and string arrangements for a full studio sound and White Light Motorcade isn't hesitant in turning up the amps.
