Composer Peter Fallowell says that his CD Journey To The Nesting Place took 16 years to produce. He also says that this work should be thought of as a modern day Symphony. While there is cohesiveness to the overall project, to call this piece a symphony is really stretching the use of the term. This work is based on the multi instrumental talents of Peter and the vocals of Cherie Emmitt. This two along with bass player Tom Allen make up Multi Fuse. Fallowell has produced a work here that is very enjoyable with its progressive feel that takes you back to the early days of The Alan Parsons Project but infuses it with his jazz background. Combine that with the melancholy vocals of Emmitt and you have an album that straddles the fences between the worlds of these genres in a very mellow way.
