Fallen Angels = LP = (LP)
Venom has put together its followup to their previous release "Hell" and while checking this one out you have to really give these metallers props on the direction that they went for. If you are familiar with early Venom you know that their sound is very raw and recording quality was not strong. But with Fallen Angels we get a chance to hear a different side of the band. The evolution of the band is quite evident in this release. The strength in this one is indeed the writing and the recording quality. The band stays true to its roots with the raw sound but the recording quality is top notch. I had the opportunity to talk with the drummer (Danny Needham) about the recording of this release and he agreed with me on the rawness and the sound quality. So, on that note we are in for a ride on this release.
