HEAVY METAL KIDS were formed in 1973 and were promptly signed to Atlantic by 60's icon the late Dave Dee. Fronted initially by the late Gary Holton and now Danny Peyronel who left the Kids to join UFO and has written songs for UFO to SADE before rejoining the band as lead vocalist after Gary's untimely death. His colleagues in the Kids are also equally acknowledged as great songwriters and musicians (Ronnie Thomas wrote for instance the USA Top 20 hit 'Girl Of My Dreams' for Bram Tchaikovsky and his songs have been recorded by artist as diverse as The Searchers to Max Splodge) Keith Boyce was a member of Savoy Brown and The Difference. This album was originally released in 2003 to great critical acclaim. 'Hit The Right Button' has been remastered and 4 live bonus tracks added. As one critic wrote back in 2003 'it's hard to select highlights but some of the tracks on this album are among the best pop-rock anthems that any artist will release in 2003' We could not have said it better.
