Preserved - The Best Of Vol 2 (CD)
2012 collection from the eclectic British Rock band. Stackridge can claim many small but significant places in pop music history including opening at the very first Glastonbury Festival in 1971, playing on the same bill as Elton John, the Beach Boys and the Eagles as well as being inspired by three disparate musical influences-The Beatles, Frank Zappa and the Incredible String Band. Stackridge founders James Warren and Andy Davis even took a break from Stackridge in the late 70's and early 80's to form the Korgis, who enjoyed worldwide success with 'If I Had You' and 'Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime' before reforming Stackridge again in the '90s. Warren and Davis have been back in the studio to compile this compilation from their Stackridge back catalog using original tracks from the period 1971 to 2003.
