Before going any further, I must make it known that Bill Leverty is the guitar player for Firehouse. Yes, the same hair rockers that had a huge hit with the power ballad "Love of a Lifetime." The reason I am stating that so clearly is that once you hear the music on Deep South you will not believe that one person could be this musically versatile. Imagine Lynyrd Skynyrd being hired to write the music to the hit movie Oh Brother Where Art Thou and you have an inkling to what the music on Deep South sounds like. The music is very Americana, mixed with Southern Fried Rock, resulting in unique and classy versions of some old time classics. .
