The band was already founded in 1962 by Richard Zehringer (who later became singer / guitarist Rick Derringer) and landed a hit classic in 1965 with the single 'Hang On Sloopy'. In addition to this hit, the songs 'Sorrow' (which was later covered by David Bowie), 'Fever' and 'Don't Worry Mother' can be heard here, among others.
