As the title suggests this double CD from the Progfest 1997 festival features artists associated with the progressive rock movement. Artists appearing at the festival in 1997 included John Wetton, Le Orme, The Flower Kings and Spock's Beard. John Wetton was performing tracks from his time with King Crimson and also UK alongside European "prog" acts such as The Flower Kings and American progressive rock band Spock's Beard. Tracks include 'In The Dead Of The Night', 'Soul Survivor', 'Humanizzimo', 'Go The Way You Go', 'Neuropschopathic Eye', and many more. This release will be eagerly anticipated by the large and loyal following that the featured bands command along with the fact that the progressive rock audience is growing and the genre now seems to be undergoing a commercial renaissance with demand for archive product such as this being high.
