SPIN XXI is a Brazilian Progressive rock band born in the Seventies. Its debut album is only released today in '06. Released by both Musea and Rock Symphony labels, "Contraponto" presents five long tracks in the great tradition of the South-American symphonic school, reaching about 45 minutes of music. The musicians show a true mastery and a playing level that is quite impressive, as they surf from one complex passage to another with desarming facility. You may think of YES listening to their sound and the composing, even if the voluble singing of the dramatic Figueiredo KAKAO can't make you forget that you're listening to an original work.
