The Laser's Edge is pleased to release, for the first time on CD, the fourth studio album by the legendary Danish progressive jazz-rock super-group SECRET OYSTER. "Straight To The Krankenhaus" was originally released in '76 on CBS Records. It is considered by many to be their masterpiece - a seamless blend of progressive rock and fusion. The fiery interplay between alto/soprano sax player KARSTEN VOGEL, guitarist CLAUS BØHLING and keyboardist KENNETH KNUDSEN parallel the work of their contemporaries RETURN TO FOREVER, WEATHER REPORT and MAHAVISHNU ORCHESTRA. With the co-operation of the band, "Straight To The Krankenhaus" features 2 previously unreleased bonus tracks and new liner notes from Karsten Vogel.
