Actually Sweden is probably the most prolific source of young hard rock bands. This time the debutant is called ON PAROLE, a band who presents their first album Classic Noise after three demo tapes and some participation for different samplers. The band calls itself like one of Motörheads first albums, but their rock and roll was inspired more from AC/DC and KISS than from the british institution. Hard Time or Alone really scream for Angus Young and Gene Simmons. For the rhythm of the up-tempo tracks the guy looked at some punk - bands, especially the Sex Pistols and the Ramones. Also this is fine. Another source of inspiration is the 50ies rockabilly. You hear it best in the highlight Roller Blind Whiskey. And so the songs run quickly and pleasing through the also quick 30 minutes. The sound is quiet dirty and so the listener misses no authenticity, while the guys shake one riff after the outer out of their arms. The playing time could have been a bit longer, but at least the band keeps the constant level during all this time. With a cover of the Girlschool classic Emergerncy and the video of Hard Rockin' Man ON PAROLE offer a great final firework.
