Recorded on tour in Munich not long after he won a Grammy for his 1986 Tutu record, Miles Davis and his ensemble deliver a solid hour and a half of jazz. Included here are extended interpretations of works from Tutu, as well as a couple of pop covers from 1985's You're Under Arrest, including Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" and Michael Jackson's "Human Nature." The pop is undeniably tasty, but fans will probably prefer the far more improvisational You're Under Arrest medley of "One Phone Call/Street Scenes/That's What Happened," where Miles gives his sidemen ample opportunity to express themselves.
