MELAINE'S third album "Candles in the rain" features two of the songs for which she best known; her version of the ROLLING STONES "Ruby Tuesday" and "What have they done to my song ma ?". This CD also features the rare full 7:40 version of "Lay down (Candles in the rain)", with the Edwin Hawkings Singers. "Leftover wine" was recorded live in New York and features different interpretations along with some songs exlusive to this album. This CD-reissue contains all the elements of the original sleeves intact and a lenghty sleevenote.
