MELAINE'S fifth album "The good book" was released in february '71 and feature "The Nickel song" (yet another US hot for the NEW SEEKERS) along with covers of DYLAN's "Sign of the window", PHIL OCHS "Chords of fame" and JUDY COLLINS "My father". The bonus track is a rare b-side that appears on CD for the first time. "Gather me", from '71, features MELAINE's biggest hit, "Brand New Key", # 4 in the UK and # 1 in the US. This CD re-issue contains all the elements of the original sleeves intact and a lenghty sleevenote.
