At home = LP = (LP)
Back in 1970, two gentlemen by the name of LAMBERT and NUTTYCOMBE got together in Sausalito, CA to record one of the prettiest folk records ever, at the house they shared together... The album appropriately titled AT HOME, was their first together as a duo... Both artists had been previously involved with the 1960's groups THE EASTSIDE KIDS and THE WEST COAST POP ART EXPERIMENTAL BAND before deciding to team up... The album only sold around 30,000 copies overall, yet the guys still developed a small but loyal fanbase on the West Coast... LAMBERT and NUTTYCOMBE played many shows in the Los Angeles area and even had some success in Hawaii, opening for bands like LITTLE FEAT and THE STEVE MILLER BAND... At one point, they were also invited to open up for CANNED HEAT on a European tour... Unfortunately though, LAMBERT's heroin addiction prevented them from achieving national recognition and they broke up after recording only one more album, that was released in 1973...
