Legless In Manila & Knocking On Your Brain (CD)
Many musicians have become better known, but few have done more good work or been in the business longer than Kevin Coyne. Before Coyne moved from England to his new home in Nuremberg and got his depression and alcohol problems under control, "Legless In Manila" with English backing musicians Steve Lamb (b), David Sheen (dr) and Peter Hope-Evans (harm) was the last work to be produced in his old homeland. By the 90s, Coyne had re-established himself as a genuine underground force, releasing a steady stream of albums of dizzying variety (and availability).
