'Letters from Utopia' is the new studio album from Kayak, the symphonic rock band founded in 1972. The band has seen many changes within ist lineup. The current formation with lead vocalists Cindy Oudshoorn en Edward Reekers has been unchanged for four years now. It has proved to be a successful formation given the well visited tours and impressive albums such as 'Merlin- Bard of the Unseen', 'Nostradamus- the Fate of Man' and 'Coming Up For Air.' Last year was their 35th anniversary year, which has been celebrated with a DVD/CD Anniversary Box. Instead of kicking back and relax, the band is going full throttle! Coming up with a new double album, containing 19 new songs! Kayak shows creativity and productivity like any other band. 'Letters from Utopia' follows the footsteps of 'Coming Up For Air', but Kayak always renews itself and still stays distinctively Kayak.
