Rites At Dawn (CD)
"Rites At Dawn" is the third album by the band, which at the time consisted of Andreas Wettergreen Strømman Prestmo (lead vocals), Morten Eriksen (guitars), Kristian Hultgren (bass guitar, saxophone and glockenspiel), Lars Fredrik Frøislie (keyboards, vocals) and Martin Kneppen (drums, percussion). It was originally released on 16 May 2011, and was recorded at LFF Studios in Oslo and Hønefoss between 17 May 2009 and 9 February 2011, featuring guest musicians Hanne Rekdal (bassoon) and Ketil Vestrum Einarsen (flute). The seven tracks on "Rites At Dawn" showed an evolution of Wobbler's sound, moving away from the melancholy of previous albums "Hinterland" (2005) and "Afterglow" (2009), towards more melodies and a stronger focus on Prestmo's vocals.
