This Italian band from Collecchio begun activities in 1972 (originally named Collettivo Musicale Collecchiese) as a Premiata Forneria Marconi clone, playing light Symphonic Rock with elaborate arrangements.Line-up shakes, change of scenery over time and failed attempts to secure a contract led the band to one and only single in 1981, ''E la musica va... / Lascia che ancora'', which was too commercial.They disbanded in 1983, before returning 22 years later with four original members -Raimondo Fantuzzi (guitar, vocals), Vittorio Savi (drums), Roberto Zazzi (flute), Giancarlo Di Bella (keyboards)- and kicked off with a strong live activity, leading to their debut album ''Motivi di sempre'' (2014, Locanda del Vento).By the time the line-up comprised -besides Fantuzzi and Savi- of Stefano Savi on percussion, Massimo Casaro on bass, Francesca Campagna on female vocals and Graziano De Palma on keyboards.As with many Italian bands with the same story, time works as a healing period, absorbing the revolutionary spirit of youth and giving its place to sweet melodies, delicate tunes and polished orchestrations.By no means they moved from their proggy roots and ''Motivi di sempre'' is actually a nice Symphonic Rock effort with lots of keyboards, strong vocals and balanced guitar parts, but the emphasis is more on solos and cool melodies than complex and ''difficult'' arrangements.I certainly praise the evident blinks to the past and their early history, sustaining a grandiose profile throughout
