Robert Plant is back from the studio in 2017 with a brand new album. "Carry Fire" is the follow-up to 2014's "Lullaby and ... The Ceaseless Roar," with which the British musician and former Led Zeppelin frontman made it to number two in the album charts in Great Britain. As with its predecessor, Plant is backed on the new record by The Sensational Space Shifters: John Baggot (keyboards, piano), Justin Adams (guitar), Dave Smith (drums) and Liam "Skin" Tyson (guitar). In addition, all four played numerous other, sometimes very exotic instruments in the studio, such as an oud (Arabic lute) or African drums. In the meantime Seth Lakeman is also a permanent member of the band, who takes over some viola and fiddle parts on "Carry Fire".
