Acid FM's Justified American Music is just that, ultimately it's an exceptional, creative Hard rock album, w/ Space Rock, Psychedelic, & Stoner Rock overtones. The record has a huge NWOBHM vide to it, but at the same would stand out in that genre as something different. The lyrics are cerebral at times, and then very specific at times, each song stands out from the next, it is very diverse but at the same time cohesive as a whole. Sparky Simmons' Vocals & Guitar work are intense, focused, wizard-like and most of all, very Alive! Doc Obergefell's bass playing is a fundamental part of the sound and adds a unique blend of tones that will shatter your low-end speakers. Jeremiah Johnson's drumming is pounding, driving, & solid, he drives this record like a precision race car driver hell bent on winning. This album sounds like 3 guys who just escaped from a mental ward for the insanely talented. This was a cult-classic the second it was released.
