Recorded over two hot 'n' steamy July evenings back in 2005, at Jake's Toad House in Atlanta, the reformed Hydra, featuring original members Wayne Bruce, Spencer Kirkpatrick and Steve Pace, along with bassist Tommy Vickery, hit the boards and turned back the clock to the high-times '70s. Live - After All These Years captures Hydra's off-road boogie and Southern fried rock, as the group pulls from ZZ Top, BTO and Mountain. The concert recording rolls through tracks for each of Hydra's three studio LPs, while throwing a few concert closing covers ("Rattlesnake Shake" and "Going Down") into the mix. Opening behind the tag-team of "Glitter Queen" and "Wasting Time", the Southern boys kick it out with a down home groove from stage, with no hint of a thirty-year-plus layoff.
