A dance-goth rush release from Andrew Eldritch and some passing session musicians intending to stop the band that would become The Mission using the name The Sisterhood, Gift was never going to measure up to one of Andrew's serious efforts, but it's nowhere near as bad as the infamous "Screw Shareholder Value" album he cooked up later on to get out of the WEA contract.
