Hard Times in the Land of Plenty / Wall of Pride = 2 CD = (CD)
Two CD set containing a pair of albums from the blues greats. Omar And The Howlers are an Austin based band formed by guitarist and singer songwriter Omar Kent Dykes. They tour Europe on a regular basis and continue to record today. Signed to Columbia Records in 1987 they released Hard Times In The Land Of Plenty a rough and tough collection of original songs and edgy sounds, and by this time slimmed down to a trio playing their own brand of powerful Texas blues rock. They followed this with Wall Of Pride released in 1988 but it failed to satisfy the demands of a major record company and they were dropped.
