DEVISER are from Greece and play a partly gothic-dyed version of Black Metal. What do you think of first if you hear this? Right, ROTTING CHRIST. Now DEVISER have been active in the underground scene for some years (since 1989, to be precise) and by now their third album already has been released, so you can't reproach them for stealing the ideas of others. Plus, although they have some ROTTING CHRIST-isms on "Running Sore" they set themselves so much apart they can't be called a copy. Well, there are parallels like some melody-sequences, the use of the keyboards and the mixture of rather gothic-inspired passages and melodic Black Metal. This could be considered "Greek" because some bands from this country share this sort of sound.
