Texas Radio & The Big Beat = 2 CD = (CD)
The Texan, who died in 1999, was the most important figure in the so-called Texmex genre and founder of the Sir Douglas Quintet and the Texas Tornadoes. This double CD contains two live recordings - one from 1973 from the Bijou Cafe in Philadelphia, and the other from Liberty Hall in Houston in 1974. Besides a version of his rather psychedelic hit song 'She's About A Mover? there are versions of 'Is Anybody Going To San Antone??, 'Mendocino?, 'Stormy Monday?, 'Georgia On My Mind?, 'Oh Pretty Woman?, 'Jambalaya?, 'Texas Tornado?, 'Wasted Days And Wasted Nights? and 'Are Inlaws Really Outlaws?.
