Gene Clark With The Gosdin Brothers (CD)
The US singer and guitarist was a founding member of The Byrds and one of their main songwriters - including 'I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better' - but left the band in 1966 for personal reasons. Clark launched his solo career with this album, released in 1967 and recorded with fellow Byrds members Chris Hillman and Michael Clarke, as well as top studio musicians Glen Campbell, Jim Gordon, Leon Russell and, of course, the Gosdin Brothers. The original album was spiked with three bonus tracks: 'Needing Someone (alt version)', 'The French Girl' and 'So You Say you Lost Your Baby (alt version)'.
