Nailwork = Digipack = (CD)
Back in the mid 90's, the Gothenburg school of metal clearly dominated the scene, spawning dozens of bands influenced by the Swedish style. Night In Gales emerged right in the middle of the movement and it soon became clear that this young group was a breath of fresh air among other In Flames-wannabes. The German five-piece quickly proved that melodic death metal could be played outside Sweden with the very same power and intensity. Now, with the exclusive re-release of "Nailwork" - Night In Gales return in all their glory to once again prove their worth on the melodic death metal scene. Nailwork", Night In Gales' third album, was a definite step forward for the band's style. For the first time Goosses started using clean vocals, adding even more range into his repertoire. The album was mixed by famous producer Harris Johns, who previously worked with such acts as Kreator, Sodom, Therion and Helloween. This fact made "Nailwork" a truly memorable release. The definite highlight of the album was the surprising cover version of "Black Velvet" by Allanah Myles. The album featured also some great guest appearances - the first Night In Gales singer Christian Müller as well as Dew-Scented's Leffe Jensen did some sicko screams, while old friend Ozan Sahinbas (school mate of Jens and guitarist in God Said War back then) laid down some crazy lead guitar tracks and finally Harris himself did some backing choirs. After all "Nailwork" is indeed the most modern, morbid and freaky record that was ever made by Night In Gales! New digipak edition includes 1 bonus and is limited to numerated 2000 copies. Digitally remastered using 24-Bit process on golden disc.
