RETROVERTIGO is a band from Venezuela, and its first album is a really surprising and fascinating music. The pieces may be very long or very short as well, and this completely original music gives new sensations. Slowness, sadness, darkness, are the key words to define it. You may think of progressive rock ala KING CRIMSON or, because of tortured and suggestive guitars, while the atmospheres are not far from gothic bands like THE THIRD AND THE MORTAL or avant garde bands like SHUB NIGGURATH sometimes.
